Description
THE ORIGINS of the Kuenhof date back to the 12th cen- tury. It was then owned by the Bishop of Brixen. Since 200 years ago it’s in possession of the Pliger family.
THE MOSTLY STEEP south eastern locations are in the Eisack valley, the most northern of Italy’s wine-growing areas. At an elevation of 550 to 700 metres above sea level the grapes grow on a total area of 6 hectares. THE EXTREME MOUNTAIN CLIMATE shapes the char- acter of these distinctive and fresh wines.
